Good Friday: Good grief: Pope leads Stations as Italy recovers from quake.. warns of dangers to humanity in message

Pope Benedict led the Stations of the Cross this Good Friday.. the AFP called it 'somber' as Italy recovers from the deadly and land-altering earthquake that took place only days ago..

Benedict prayed for the victims of the quake that devestated parts of Italy.. The Pope said that they came together Good Friday to "sing together a hymn of hope. We want to tell ourselves that all is not lost in moments of difficulty."

The Pope is leading into Easter was a series of dire words about Earth's present state and future .. UK DAILY news reporting that the Pope warned of a 'desert of godlessness .. "'We are shocked to see to what levels of brutality human beings can sink" .. "'Values and norms that held societies together and drew people to higher ideals are laughed at and thrown overboard. Jesus continues to be ridiculed" .. Fighting words from the Pontiff, who most recently found himself and his flock embroiled in a controversy about condom use in Africa..

Barack Obama appears ready to control the weather! ...No joke, the Obama Administration may be looking into radical plans to change the earth's warming period.. The radical idea was once dismissed by generations past, but Obama's new science advisor says it could happen .. One aspect of the plan, according to the WALL STREET JOURNAL, would be to shoot pollution particles into the sky .. Is anyone else a little .. perhaps uneasy about such a plan..?

President Obama went to Baghdad today to visit troops and speak about what victory in Iraq will be.. But now some are questioning where the video is of the trip.. It wasn't prepped in time for tonight's nightly news: "When it came time to feed the video of Obama's meetings, the pool producer passed the tape off to someone, perhaps a member of the military, who was then supposed to take it to a checkpoint where a second pool producer was waiting to pick it up and feed it back to the U.S. networks" ..
