The Weiner Nation

Michael Savage controversy continues. .His comments over children with autism caused immediate reaction, and now some radio stations and advertisers are dropping Savage from their proverbial friends list. *Michael Weiner is the real name, by the way*.. If you missed Weiner's Savage comments, or just want to hear them again to get angry all over, here they are:

FOR A VARIETY OF REASONS..

I have concluded everyone is nuts. Maybe I had too much time this morning to peruse videos on You Tube. Online scammers and 'inventors' claiming to be billionaires and geniuses better than me. People in South Carolina opening stores marketed towards "Rednecks" .. Make money online! Sometimes it seems that it's more effortless to just throw the towel in than to fight back against the insanity that Earth has to offer.. The only hope we may have is the notion of space aliens from another galaxy coming to save us, or destroy us. Everyone is crazy. In some way. More some than others. It's a cluttered mess--but I guess it flows. But so do septic tanks.

Saturday morning news update..

The weather outside is frightful.. the rakings really not delightful. 9:01 am today, severe thunderstorm warning my in hometown .. and lots of others around Eastern Pennsylvania. It's August. But the good news is July is over.. effectively so is summer. School shopping season has begun. My favorite time of year is coming.. Let those leaves change.. As the thunder rolls on. Some random news events from around the world .. which can now see the sun: Water containing small amount of radiation leaked from United States nuclear sub earlier this year.. Officials said the leak had little impact on the environment.. One year ago: Bridge collapse in Minnesota.. Has your bridge been fixed since? Regis meets the world's biggest cat.. Hundreds of people meet the world's biggest pumpkin.. Suicide of doctor the latest twist in anthrax investigation..

Las Vegas news team reports on new UFO case

"A large object with a turquoise hue plummeted out of the sky earlier this summer and plowed into the earth south of Las Vegas near Needles, California. Eyewitnesses say this was no meteorite, especially since a bunch of helicopters came looking for it and then hauled it away.

Gary McKinnon loses extradition appeal

Glasgow-born Gary McKinnon could face life in jail if convicted of accessing 97 US military and Nasa computers. He has admitted breaking into the computers from his London home but said he was seeking information on UFOs ..

""American officials involved in this case have stated that they want to see him 'fry'. "

Liquid on .. Titan?

Not sure about life on Titan, one of Saturn's moons, but NASA does say that liquid flows on the surface!

NASA said in a statement that information from Cassini indicated that large lakes on Titan contained liquid hydrocarbons and ethane..

The great game begins

The International Olympic Committee allows for Internet blocking by Chinese government at Olympic games.. Good luck bloggers.

Oh the controversy!! .. I am sick of politics. With over 90 days left to go.

Let it end! John McCain's town halls.. Barack Obama's massive gatherings. And neither one of them have a vice president yet. It's too much.. Change the scenery. Both candidates are a little under my skin. I wish my dream come true match of Ron Paul vs Dennis Kucinich would have happened.. Nonetheless, no use crying over printed deflated dollars. Today's 'controversy' that is diverting Americans and news media from true issues is the war about ads (the same exact debate that happens around this same exact time every election cycle.) The use of celebrity in ads the hot topic on the 24/7 cable shows: A McCain ad uses brief flashes of Paris Hilton and Britney Spears comparing Obama to 'celebrity'. The flashes in use were not, however, nude flashes.. Obama counters McCain: "What they're going to do is make you scared -- of me. 'He's not patriotic enough. He's got a funny name. He doesn't look like all the presidents on the dollar bills.'" The ad itself is relatively dull .. boring .. not really hard hitting . . And now. . as expected, late tonight the Obama camp is hitting back with ads already appearing on cable and the big networks. 'He can't take the high horse and then claim the low road.' Wake me in November..
