  STUDIO EXECS FINALLY COME CLEAN: BOX OFFICE FLOPS...THEIR OWN FAULT! We thought we'd never hear it...endless amounts of bad movies later, the Hollywood studio executives that brought us just so many horrible awful movies come clean about why exactly the box office slump is occuring: It's their movies! The LA TIMES story documenting their admission also mentions the movies STEALTH and BEWITCHED. I saw neither one of them...though I had no inclination to even buy a ticket for them. STEALTH was advertised so heavy you'd think the Bush administration had a stake in it...But even though it was constant--for months--seeing that evil plane and that endless preview, no one went to the damn movie! And believe me, it's not because they downloaded it at home, it's because they wanted to stay away from crap... Period. |
