Pennsylvania, as much as the other east coast, too, has become a 21st photograph of what the ice age may have looked like...trees standing still, grass cracking in half as you walk on it...
Over a half inch of ice fell in much of my home state of PA this week, many inches of snow...rain on top...
Two ice rain and snow storms hit the east coast this past week, the second one happened last night, adding.."character".. to trees and power lines--many of which were no match for the weight of the ice...
The view afterward was almost heavenly. Heavenly many times can be perceived as 'ghostly' as well.
...however it's been hell for so many who have had power outages, lost heat...the plight goes on..
The HORROR-REPORT retained electricity today, and battery power for the digital camera...
Trees down over a road in Centralia, PA
Ice thick on tree branches...
A stop sign before interstate 81..
Even small tree limbs and grass couldn't escape the freeze...
A foggy and icy road..
Mountain behind HORROR-REPORT home base iced and frozen...
Car frozen shut..
Cemetary iced and trees falling...
